I've put off blogging about this wedding because I truly didn't even know where to start. I never thought my job could be filled with so many emotions for people I hardly even knew. From great happiness, as these two people who have such love for each other get to spend forever together, to sadness, as Theresa danced with her dad (I think my sister and I were both bawling behind the cameras.. we're such saps!) and most of all laughter. Let me say it again... L A U G H T E R. I think we laughed the entire night away. Who wouldn't when you see the groom and his boys dance to Backstreet Boys "I Want It That Way", as if they were on Broadway, making sure to include all necessary theatricals.
The church and ceremony we're breathtaking, the reception was nothing short of an AMAZING party and the couple we're adorably in love with each other. It can't get much better. People came from Germany, England and Canada to attend this wedding and I have no doubt that as they left that night they were so delighted they came, knowing it was well worth their travels.
Congratulations Derek and Theresa. I hope you guys are having a blast traveling all over the states and Canada!! You guys are truly amazing and I hope that as you continue life together the fun and laughter you two have with each other just grows and grows. I am grateful and thankful to consider you two friends (and facebook makes it official, right? haha).
